The internet now is basically the most popular thing, everybody uses it on a day to day basis. Some people post content, some people post content privately, some post it publicly. And today I’m going to talk about how sharing your ideas online is valuable.
We all learn new things everyday from the internet, and when you have an idea and you post it on the internet, somebody else who might need to brainstorm, or somebody else who might have had an issue related to the idea that you had, or even if it is just normal knowledge, it helps them grow, and gain knowledge, and it could even show them a new perspective they may have never seen before. Sometimes a small idea that seems simple to you could be very helpful to someone else who is just starting to learn about that topic. Sharing ideas can also start discussions, where different people add their thoughts, which helps everyone understand the idea better.
Consistency
Now, moving onto the next point, whenever we post online, we will slowly end up getting more and more attention, especially if you post it on a social media platform, or you advertise it through a social media platform. And slowly as it gets more attention, you will feel the urge to consistently post, and to improve all of your posts, because you would want each new post to be better than the last one.
Over time, you can get better at writing, you can get better at explaining your ideas clearly, and you can get better at presenting your posts in a way that makes people interested to read them. You can also improve your ability to research topics, organize your thoughts, and communicate more effectively. All of this can happen just by posting your ideas online, as compared to writing privately where there is less motivation to improve or continue consistently.
Accessibility
If you write something on a piece of paper, and unless it is a very crucial piece of information, there is a high chance that it might get lost somehow. Or you might move to a different place, and you might have thrown it out without realizing its value. But if you have written it somewhere online, maybe on your blog, then you can access it even if everything else has been lost.
Online content can be stored for a long time, and you can come back to it whenever you need it. You can also update your ideas as you learn more, and keep everything organized in one place. This makes it easier to track how your thinking has changed over time, and it allows your knowledge to grow step by step. It also allows other people to find your work easily, which means your ideas can continue to help others even long after you first shared them.
